It's essential the Government listens to planning authorities

While homes are urgently needed, they should not come at the expense of agriculture, says Cllr Sam Chapman-Allen

The importance of building homes to ease the housing crisis is appreciated as much by district councils as it is by ministers.

Our district would be severely diminished by the loss of land, and the same is true of many other places
