Three council leaders have called for government money destined for EU to be used instead to solve the social care funding crisis.

Three council leaders have called for government money destined for the European Union (EU) to be used instead to solve the social care funding crisis.

In a joint letter to the prime minister, David Cameron, the leaders of Kent CC, Buckinghamshire CC and Hampshire CC – Cllrs Paul Carter, Martin Tett and Ken Thornber – have called for urgent action over the 'Dilnot' recommendations to cap social care costs at £35,000.
