Evans gets permanent secretary role

Leslie Evans has been appointed as the new permanent secretary to the Scottish Government, replacing Sir Peter Housden.

Leslie Evans has been appointed as the new permanent secretary to the Scottish Government, replacing Sir Peter Housden.

Ms Evans, currently director general, learning and justice in the Scottish Government, will take up the post on 1 July 2015.
