The chair of the independent Riots Communities and Victims Panel has praised councils for tackling some of the underlying causes of disturbances which took place six months ago this week.

Writing in The MJ former Ealing LBC chief executive, Darra Singh, reveals his panel has already uncovered ‘excellent work' across authorities affected by the riots, designed to create a positive environment for youngsters.
