The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) wants to capitalise on the way it has worked with the sector over Brexit, The MJ understands.

It is believed MHCLG wants to continue to develop its relationship with the sector over the next year as Whitehall officials view the way the department and local government have worked closely together preparing for a potential no-deal Brexit as a success.
