Executive Head of Safeguarding Children's Services

£75,288 - £92,037 (starting salary will depend on track record and experience.)

The Executive Head for Safeguarding is responsible for the strategic and operational management of children's services and is of utmost importance to elected Councillors and our residents. You will build on our innovation and lead the change programme that we have embarked on in Sutton, developing the already strong partnerships with the local community and other service agencies, such as the Police, voluntary sector, health and young people.

You will be constantly looking for best value through improving commissioning and service delivery to improve outcomes for children and young people. You will also contribute to the Council as a whole and focus on outcomes to residents, challenge under-performance and instil a sense of customer focus, through not only the directorate but across the wider organisation.
