Unaccompanied asylum seeking children (UASC) could be in danger of being exploited after the Illegal Migration Act created an incentive for them to run away.

Deputy speaker Sir Roger Gale announced in the House of Commons today that the much-criticised Illegal Migration Bill - central to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's pledge to ‘stop the boats' crossing the English Channel - had become an Act of Parliament after being given Royal Assent.
