The chief executive of the Electoral Commission has revealed that extra steps have been taken to address the risk of electoral fraud in Tower Hamlets.

With local elections only a month away Bob Posner has written to local government minister Kemi Badenoch to say ‘additional steps' have been taken ‘in areas with a history of concerns about electoral integrity, such as Tower Hamlets'.
