A petition calling for Farnham to break away from Waverley BC has amassed more than 4,000 signatures since it was launched last month.

A petition calling for Farnham to break away from Waverley BC has amassed more than 4,000 signatures since it was launched last month.

The Non-Partisan Petition Group has called for the town to be restored as a district authority. Farnham had its own authority until the local government reorganisation of 1974, when it became part of Waverley BC.
