First female leader for Greenwich

Greenwich RLBC has elected Cllr Denise Hyland as the borough’s first female leader in its history.

Greenwich RLBC has elected Cllr Denise Hyland as the borough's first female leader in its history.

She has lived in the borough since 1974 and has spent her career teaching in schools and working in the youth service and adult education in Greenwich.
