Chancellor George Osborne has launched the latest Government initiative to stimulate housebuilding on brownfield land last week.  

On this occasion, the negative sentiment was interestingly championed by a Financial Times leader criticising the Government for not allowing more building on ‘the UK's abundant green spaces'.
