Private companies that have had fire safety tests on their high-rise buildings should make the results public, the Local Government Association (LGA) has urged.

Speaking at the LGA's executive meeting last week, chief executive Mark Lloyd said it was crucial that any test results conducted by the Buildings Research Establishment (BRE) on behalf of private companies should be made public.
