As (always) noted by Diary, local government secretary Robert Jenrick is very keen on flags. He has a rather large Union Jack flag [Union Flag. I get complaints when we call it a Union Jack – Ed] in the corner of his office.
Now he's taken to Twitter to express his relief that Leicestershire is ‘no longer the only county without a county flag'. This development is the result of sterling work and advocacy by MP for Rutland and Melton Alicia Kearns and the Leicestershire Flag Campaign.
