The post-COVID workplace is intrinsically tied to the future success or failure of our local high streets and town and city centres.
A recent study by Prudential showed that 42% of workers surveyed would not want to work for an employer who required them to work on site full time. This could be good news for local high streets, and a recent report from cross-party think-tank Demos has found the huge increases in home working, coupled with a desire for continued flexibility, could support significant increases in local spending.
