Shadow ministers have cast doubt over the future of Britain's first marine energy park – announced this week – warning it could fail without public funding.

The South West Marine Energy Park will run through Bristol and Cornwall to the Isles of Scilly, and aims to create a partnership between national and local government, local enterprise partnerships, the universities of Plymouth and Exeter, and industry.
