Shadow communities secretary Caroline Flint this week accused the Government of throwing the planning system into ‘disarray'.

Ms Flint attacked the coalition's proposed planning reforms, after chancellor George Osborne and local government secretary Eric Pickles penned a joint letter to the Financial Times defending the government's controversial planning reforms.
