The LGA continues to work on a cross-political group basis to agree how best to support the councils and the people we represent, providing councillors whose local authorities are in membership of the LGA with a whole range of advice and practical tools for succeeding in the increasingly-diverse world of local government.

The LGA summer conference gives delegates access to every aspect of local government service delivery and planning, political opinion, an opportunity to take part in a large range of debates and to reaffirm the local agenda as the best way forward.
