With the local elections behind us and the General Election on our doorstep, I'd like to thank everyone who helped make sure the local elections ran as smoothly as they did.

Polling day is tough and it couldn't happen without the hard work and dedication of our returning officers and their staff. So here's to them and good luck with the next round on 8 June.
