The former president of the Association of Directors of Children's Services (ADCS), Dave Hill, is set to take up the role of director for children at Surrey CC.

Mr Hill is currently Essex CC's executive director for social care and education. He will join Surrey in the role of executive director for children, families and learning. He has worked in similar positions at Merton and Croydon LBCs.
