Former Audit Commission chairman, Roger Brooke, has died, at the age of 82.

Former Audit Commission chairman, Roger Brooke, has died, at the age of 82.

The businessman, philanthropist and founder of venture capital firm, Candover Investments, was chairman of the commission from 1995 to 1998, when Andrew Foster was its chief executive.
