Former council director of Scope takes on new role

Disability charity Scope appoints a former council director,to lead on designing and delivering local services for disabled adults.

The disability charity Scope has appointed former council director, Carol Tozer, to lead on designing and delivering local services for disabled adults, children and their families.

Ms Tozer will begin work as executive director of services in the new year. Her last role was people commissioner/director of children's services at Torbay Council, where her responsibilities straddled children and adult services, and included partnership working with the voluntary and community sector.
