The former deputy leader of Sandwell MBC has been order to pay almost £140,000 after a failed legal battle against the council ended in the High Court.

The former deputy leader of Sandwell MBC has been order to pay almost £140,000 after a failed legal battle against the council ended in the High Court.

Mahboob Hussain launched a judicial review against the council over the publication of an independent report by law firm Wragge Gowling WLG. The report was an independent investigation into allegations he had abused his position as a councillor.
