One of the last recommendations made by Kensington & Chelsea RLBC chief executive Nicholas Holgate before he resigned was for the first cabinet meeting after the Grenfell Tower fire to be held in private, The MJ can reveal.
Emails obtained using the Freedom of Information (FoI) Act showed that Mr Holgate told then-leader Nicholas Paget-Brown that he would ‘favour a private meeting if you are content that all Cllrs might attend'.
