Worcester City Council has appointed former Knowsley MBC chief executive Sheena Ramsey as its new managing director.

Ms Ramsey replaces Duncan Sharkey, who left the local authority in May to become corporate director, place, at Milton Keynes Council.

She will start work at Worcester City Council on 3 August on a salary of £105,000.
