Reading BC has appointed former Wolverhampton City Council chief Simon Warren as its interim managing director. 

Chief executive of Wolverhampton from 2010 to 2014, Mr Warren previously held the same post at Rugby BC. Prior to joining local government he served with the RAF and as a senior officer at NATO.
