Foundations laid for Cornerstone

The Social enterprise being launched by Tim Byles, is planning to invest £1bn in local communities.

The social enterprise being launched by former Partnership for Schools (PfS) chief executive, Tim Byles, is planning to invest £1bn in local communities.

In an interview with The MJ, Mr Byles, who left PfS in June, said his new social investment company, Cornerstone, was currently in discussions with 12 local authorities and six health trusts to convert surplus public buildings and other unused assets.
