Fraud fear for charity sector

Charities must be better protected against the fraud, according to a report by accountant, PKF, and the University of Portsmouth.

Charities need to be better protected against the possibility of fraud, according to a new report by accountant, PKF, and the University of Portsmouth.

The report found that around 60% of charities did not have a clear policy to recover fraud losses, and only one-fifth of counter-fraud staff in the third sector were professionally trained.
