A top local government recruiter has encouraged council chief executives to be authentic.

Speaking at The MJ's Future Forum North event today, practice director of Gatenby Sanderson, Jon Houlihan, cited the example of Solihull MBC boss Nick Page, who has spoken publicly about how work exacerbated his mental health condition.
