Ministers have confirmed a new £410m funding package to boost partnership working initiatives allowing local areas to integrate public services – £90m of which is to be shared immediately.

Among the authorities in line for immediate cash support from the Transformation Challenge Award are Taunton Deane BC and West Somerset DC, which will receive £750,000 to extend shared service arrangements.
