Sheffield City Council’s Voice and Influence workers are a nationally acclaimed group of care-experienced young adults who help improve services for children in the social care system. Meredith Dixon Teasdale explains

In Sheffield, we value every member of our community and we want to allow people the freedom to share their views to make a positive impact on our city.

A key part of Sheffield's care sector is our Voice and Influence (V&I) workers who have made a variety of achievements which will impact our city for the better. The team, who are nationally acclaimed, use their lived experience, voices and collaborative workshops to help improve services for care-experienced children, young people and adults up to 25 years old.
