The driver of a bin lorry that crashed into pedestrians in Glasgow last year, killing six people, has resigned ahead of a disciplinary hearing.

The driver of a bin lorry that crashed into pedestrians in Glasgow last year, killing six people, has resigned ahead of a disciplinary hearing.

Harry Clarke was behind the wheel when the vehicle veered off the road on 22 December, the driver reportedly losing consciousness before hitting shoppers in George Square.
