Glasgow councillors form 'break-away' party

Former Labour councillors at Glasgow City Council, are launching a rival party to field candidates in May’s local elections.

Former Labour councillors at Scotland's largest local authority, Glasgow City Council, are launching a rival party to field candidates in May's local elections.

The six councillors involved are currently serving the council as independent members, pending the Electoral Commission processing their party registration, and agreeing to the name Glasgow Labour.
