GMB to ballot over strike action

The GMB will hold an official strike ballot for council and school members after the 1% pay offer was overwhelmingly rejected as part of a consultative ballot.

The GMB will hold an official strike ballot for council and school members after the 1% pay offer was overwhelmingly rejected as part of a consultative ballot. 

 In the initial ballot, 83% voted for industrial action.
