Members of the GMB Scotland trade union have rejected the Scottish local government pay offer, potentially sparking industrial action.

Members of the GMB Scotland trade union have rejected the local government pay offer, potentially sparking industrial action.

Some 92% of members across Scotland's 32 local authorities rejected the offer put forward by the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities, which has tabled a 3% increase for all employees earning up to £36,500 while staff on the highest grades will receive a flat rate increase of £1,600.
