E-gov costs re-think

Swansea CC has announced a re-think of its e-Government programme.

The council's back-office systems, which form the first phase, are due to go live at the end of the year, and the authority announced last week that discussions were still going on about the next stage. Cllr Mary Jones said council budgets were tight, and the authority wanted ‘an affordable outcome'.
