Voluntary sector leaders have warned of the need for good governance following the collapse of a high-profile adoption agency and children's charity Kids Company.

Kids Company shut down this week after a donor allegedly pulled £3m of funding on hearing that the Metropolitan Police was investing claims of sexual abuse at the charity.
