Government advises LEPs on greater transparency

Local enterprise partnerships (LEPs) should publish their agendas, decisions, accounts and a rolling schedule of projects funded, a review by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) has recommended.

Local enterprise partnerships (LEPs) should publish their agendas, decisions, accounts and a rolling schedule of projects funded, a review by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) has recommended.

The DCLG's annual governance and transparency review of LEPs, conducted by the department's non-executive director Mary Ney, suggested that LEPs should publish relevant documents to ensure good decision-making.
