The Government is too focused on a Prevent strategy instead of an integration strategy, according to Dame Louise Casey.

Giving evidence to the Citizenship and Civil Engagement committee yesterday on her integration report published last year, Dame Louise said that although she has defended the importance of the Prevent programme previously, it should not be developed at the cost of an integration strategy.
