Making government office renewal work harder for places

Working with local and regional authorities is key to realising the potential of the Government Property Agency’s workplace transformation programme, explains Dominic Brankin.

At the Government Property Agency (GPA), we're on a mission to deliver great places to work for civil servants. It's an incredibly exciting brief, knowing that we're helping to shape the places where the next big decisions of government will be made. But it's not just about where and how civil servants work. Delivered in the right way and, perhaps most importantly, with the right partners, our workplace transformation programme can make a positive impact for communities up and down the country.  

Collaboration with local and regional authorities is paramount to realising this potential. We know the power of property to drive change and the question often at the front of our mind is: how can we be part of somebody's bigger plan? Here's what we've learnt so far about making it work.
