The Government's response to the Munro review into child protection has been welcomed as an opportunity to trust professionals to achieve the best outcomes for children.

Outlining plans to bring about long-term reform through reducing central regulation and prescription, children's minister Tim Loughton today pledged to place greater trust and responsibility in skilled professionals and local leaders.
