Government proposals to reform public services have been criticised as 'unworkable' and imposing 'additional unnecessary red tape' on councils.

Released today, the update on the Open Public Services White Paper sets out actions undertaken by government across a wide range of public services including local government, education, welfare and health - eight months after it was first pubilshed.
