The Government will need to do more to support job creation if the economy is to recover fully, a report by think-tank the IPPR has claimed.

Over the past two decades, the report claims the public sector has made up for a lack of jobs being created in the private sector. However, now public service employment is being scaled back, the onus will be on private sector jobs.
