The Government has overturned the controversial planning decision that landed former communities secretary Robert Jenrick in hot water.

The Government has overturned the controversial planning decision that landed former communities secretary Robert Jenrick in hot water.

Plans to build 1,500 new homes on the Westferry Printworks in east London were given the go-ahead by Mr Jenrick, against the advice of the planning inspector and Tower Hamlets LBC. The five tower blocks were deemed to be too high and harmful to the character of the area.
