Government unveils a draft Planning Policy Framework for future growth

The National Planning Policy Framework cuts the existing 1,000 pages of policy down to just a 52-page document.

A draft blueprint for planning has been unveiled by the Government – cutting the existing 1,000 pages of policy down to just a 52-page document.

The draft National Planning Policy Framework aims to simplify existing guidelines to make the planning process more accessible for councillors and the public, rather than just planning experts.
