Public health directors have warned of ‘difficult decisions' ahead after the Government confirmed announced cuts to grants.

The president of the Association of Directors of Public Health (ADPH), Dr Andrew Furber, said figures published by the Department of Health last week showed the grant settlement had been effectively cut by 8.5%.
