Councils and businesses have to take a lead in finding effective policies to promote growth, encourage investment and boost job creation, says Paula Lucci.

As the Government finalises plans to boost economic growth, with a series of programmes, measures and initiatives scheduled for announcement in the Autumn, perhaps now is the time to take stock of just where the growth agenda in the UK is and what needs to happen next.
