Growth of households will put public services under pressure

The number of households in England is set to grow by a further 2.2 million by 2021 especially in the capital, according to the DCLG.

The number of households in England is set to grow by a further 2.2 million by 2021 especially in the capital, according to DCLG projections.

London's rate of increase in households from 2011 to 2021 is expected to be double that of the North and the Midlands putting huge pressure on the capital's housing and public services.
