Shadow communities secretary Andrew Gwynne has moved soothe Labour tensions in the wake of Haringey LBC leader Claire Kober's decision to quit.

The dispute erupted after the party's ruling national executive committee (NEC) urged the council to pause its plans for a Haringey Development Vehicle, which infuriated Labour councillors who largely leapt to the defence of Cllr Kober.
