Shadow local government secretary Andrew Gwynne has suggested a Labour Government could reverse reorganisation in Northamptonshire if his party won a snap General Election.
Speaking at the District Councils' Network's national conference yesterday, Mr Gwynne said that Northamptonshire's districts had been ‘punished for the failure of the county council,' adding: ‘I think the imposition of unitaries in Northamptonshire is going to be to the detriment of great district councils such as Corby BC.'
