A private nursing agency has warned almost half of all councils are unable to meet demands for elderly care.

A private nursing agency has warned almost half of all councils are unable to meet demands for elderly care.

According to Prestige Nursing + Care, which represents around 3,000 nurses and care workers across the country, 48% of local authorities are unable to provide care for everyone who requests it at the first point of asking.
